Due to the death of Dr. Eglinton on August 2nd, 2016, the office of Asheville Biologics & Orthopaedics is closed.

 

Please check this website in the days to come for more information about  details about a referring physican/practice.

If you have an immediate medical need, please call 911 or visit the ER. If you need your medical records sent to another physican please call us at 828-575-9841 or email us at admin@ashevillebiologicsortho.com.

 

All patients should receive by August 17th a letter about our practice closing. In it you will have an authorization form that you must complete and send back to us if you would like to have your medical records released. If you did not receive this letter, please contact our office ASAP for us to resend it to you. Due to the immediate closing of ABO , we ask that you request your medical records ASAP. Assuming we receive your completed authorization form prior to September 9th, 2016 there will not be a charge for copying your record. All authorization forms received after September 9th, 2016 will be subject to a reasonable copying fee to cover the cost of duplication.

*To pay respects to Dr. E his family and staff of ABO will be hosting a drop-in Friday, August 26th from 10 am to noon at the ABO office: 172 Asheland Avenue Suite C. We ask that you bring your favorite Dr. E goodie (he had many) and stop by to share your Dr. E stories with his family.  He would would want us to have it at the office where he loved to be serving his patients. A private service for family will be held August 27th.

 

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Regenerative Medicine Fund at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – a non-profit that funds and promotes adult stem cell therapy research. Checks payable to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157, specify Regenerative Medicine or https://campaign.wakehealth.edu/giving/ (Regenerative Medicine)

 

His entire family would like to thank his patients and the Asheville community for the outpouring of love and support that they have shown.
